These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the hydrax.uk website and the supply of services by Hydra Cleaning Limited ("Hydra Cleaning", "we", "us" or "our").

Please read them carefully before requesting a quote or booking our services.

2. These Terms

2.1 These Terms apply to:

  • your use of our website; and
  • any quotation, booking or agreement for exterior cleaning or related services supplied by us.

2.2 By using our website, requesting a quote, or booking our services, you agree to these Terms.

2.3 If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.

3. Our Services

3.1 We provide exterior cleaning and related services, which may include:

  • driveway, patio and decking cleaning;
  • render, cladding, walls and fences softwashing;
  • roof cleaning;
  • gutter, fascia and soffit cleaning;
  • exterior window, conservatory and solar panel cleaning; and
  • related residential or commercial exterior cleaning services.

3.2 All services are subject to availability, site conditions, weather and safety requirements.

4. Website Use

4.1 You may use our website only for lawful purposes.

4.2 You must not:

  • misuse the website;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website or its servers;
  • introduce malicious code;
  • use the website in a way that could damage, disable or impair it.

4.3 We may suspend, withdraw or change the website without notice.

5. Quotations

5.1 Any quote we provide is based on the information available at the time, including any details, photographs, measurements or descriptions you give us.

5.2 A quote may be revised if:

  • the information provided was incomplete or inaccurate;
  • site conditions differ materially from what was described;
  • access is restricted or more difficult than expected;
  • additional work, materials, equipment or time are required; or
  • health and safety considerations require a different method.

5.3 Unless otherwise stated in writing, quotations are valid for 30 days.

5.4 A booking is not confirmed until we accept it.

6. Customer Responsibilities

6.1 You must:

  • provide accurate information when requesting a quote or booking;
  • provide safe and reasonable access to the property and relevant areas;
  • tell us about any known defects, fragile surfaces, loose fittings, leaks, electrical issues, asbestos, unsafe roofing, prior damage or other hazards;
  • secure pets and ensure children are kept away from the work area;
  • remove or protect valuables, vehicles, furniture, decorations and fragile items near the work area; and
  • obtain any permissions required from landlords, managing agents or third parties.

6.2 If we cannot safely carry out the work because access is not available or conditions are unsuitable, we may postpone or cancel the booking.

7. Weather, Access and Safety

7.1 We may rearrange or suspend work where weather, site conditions or safety concerns make performance impractical or unsafe.

7.2 We may refuse to use any cleaning method that we reasonably believe could damage the property or create unacceptable risk.

7.3 We may stop work if we discover conditions that were not disclosed and that affect price, safety or feasibility.

8. Service Standards and Results

8.1 We will perform our services with reasonable care and skill.

8.2 Exterior cleaning can improve appearance substantially, but we do not guarantee that every stain, mark, biological growth, discolouration or defect can be completely removed.

8.3 Cleaning may reveal pre-existing issues, including but not limited to damaged pointing, cracked render, loose tiles, defective seals, worn coatings, staining, oxidisation, pre-existing leaks or historic repairs. We are not responsible for pre-existing defects or for loss or damage that results from such defects becoming visible during or after cleaning.

8.4 Where we recommend a lower-pressure or alternative cleaning method for safety reasons, we may limit or refuse more aggressive treatment.

9. Changes to Services

9.1 If you ask for extra work or a change to the agreed service, we may provide a revised quotation or additional charge.

9.2 Minor changes to timing, methods or sequence of work may be made where reasonably necessary.

10. Price and Payment

10.1 The price payable is the price confirmed by us, subject to any permitted variation under these Terms.

10.2 Unless stated otherwise, any VAT applicable will be shown separately where required.

10.3 Payment terms will be as set out in our quotation or invoice. If no specific term is stated, payment is due on completion of the work.

10.4 We may issue invoices electronically.

10.5 If payment is overdue, we may suspend further work or take reasonable steps to recover sums due. For business customers, we reserve the right to claim interest and recovery costs where the law allows.

11. Cancellation and Rescheduling

11.1 If you need to cancel or rearrange a booking, please give us as much notice as possible.

11.2 If you are a consumer and your contract with us is concluded at a distance or off-premises, you may have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of entering into the contract.

11.3 If you ask us to begin the service during that 14-day period, you expressly request early performance. If the service is fully completed within the cancellation period, your right to cancel will end once the service is complete. If you cancel after work has started but before completion, you may be required to pay for the proportion of the service already supplied.

11.4 Outside your statutory rights, if you cancel late, do not provide access, or no one is available where attendance is required, we may charge a reasonable amount for wasted time, travel, hired equipment, materials or other costs already incurred.

12. Complaints

12.1 If you are unhappy with our service, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible so that we have a fair opportunity to inspect the issue and, where appropriate, put things right.

12.2 We may ask for photographs, details of the issue, and reasonable access to inspect the property.

13. Photographs and Reviews

13.1 We may take before-and-after photographs for operational records, quality control, training, insurance or dispute resolution purposes.

13.2 We will not use photographs that identify you personally for promotional purposes without an appropriate lawful basis. Where consent is required, we will ask for it.

13.3 If you provide us with a review or testimonial, you agree that we may use it for promotional purposes, unless you ask us not to.

14. Liability

14.1 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for:

  • death or personal injury caused by negligence;
  • fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or
  • any matter that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

14.2 If you are a consumer, we are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of these Terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable. We are not liable for business losses suffered by consumers.

14.3 If you are a business customer, to the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • we will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of business, loss of opportunity or loss of goodwill; and
  • our total liability arising out of or in connection with the services will not exceed the amount paid or payable by you for the relevant booking.

14.4 We are not liable for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, traffic disruption, equipment failure not caused by our negligence, supplier issues or restrictions imposed for health and safety reasons.

15. Intellectual Property

15.1 All content on our website, including text, images, branding, logos and layout, is owned by us or licensed to us unless otherwise stated.

15.2 You may not copy, reproduce, modify or distribute website content without our prior written consent, except for personal, non-commercial use.

16. Privacy

16.1 Our use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy.

17. General

17.1 If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in force.

17.2 Any delay by us in enforcing our rights does not amount to a waiver of those rights.

18. Governing Law

18.1 These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.

18.2 If you are a consumer, you may bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the United Kingdom in which you live, where applicable.

18.3 If you are a business customer, the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction unless we agree otherwise in writing.
